For the preservation
of HUMAN Creativity.
Our world is rapidly embracing the use of artificial intelligence in nearly every aspect of life. We can’t get away from it. And it is here to stay. And, if we are completely honest, the implementation of AI in general is both good and bad.
But when it comes to creativity and our creative works of all shapes and styles… AI has NO rightful place in our creative spaces doing creative tasks for us. ALL creativity, but especially artistic creativity, is best left solely to HUMANITY.
Creativity is a defining characteristic of our humanity, given to us by God. We are all creatives, every single one of us. And we must make a stand for the preservation of HUMAN creativity in a world of increasing reliance on AI. Without this preservation, our world WILL change for the worse. We, as creative people, must be the driving force for making human creativity the primary focus for all our creative endeavors. And this is where Forged By Humanity comes in.
The words “Forged By Humanity” are nothing more than a proof statement to the world that, as the creator, or one of the creators of a created work, it was created without the PRIMARY use of artificial intelligence. The hope is that this simple statement will create a revolution against the use of AI in historically creative endeavors and creative spaces, be it artistically creative or not.
Our mission at Forged By Humanity is to promote the work of HUMAN creativity in the midst of a world of ever-growing artificial options. In that mission, we do not have the expectation to eliminate ALL machine learning and artificial intelligence use from our created works. Rather, we want to strive to make sure the PRIMARY creative work is being done by HUMAN creativity. With the constant and rapid implementation of AI by developers into our creative tools, it is becoming harder to eliminate all AI influence in our creative endeavors.
The use of the “Forged By Humanity” brand by our members allows artistic and non-artistic works to show that AI was not the primary creative force in their created works. And in doing so, showing the world that there is a community of like-minded HUMAN creatives who seek to preserve HUMAN creativity.
The use of the “Forged By Humanity” branding does three things:
- In general, it shows a unified resistance to the use of AI as the PRIMARY creative force in creative works.
- For the creators of creative work, it says that our HUMANITY was the primary creative force behind our created work.
- For the consumers of creative work, it provides confidence that a created work originates from HUMAN inspiration and creativity.

In this fight, we have to remember that we are all creatives. With that knowledge, we have to know that the fight against the use of AI in creative spaces and our creative endeavors is a fight that all of us should be ALL IN on. But don’t think that the fight is against each other… and it is not even against the machine or the algorithm… rather, the fight is against our own laziness and desire to cut corners. That’s why we used the word “FORGED” in our name. It indicates that a level of effort and sweat is required in our creative endeavors. We can so easily forget that creative work is supposed to be hard… that is where the value comes from. When we make the creative endeavor easy by extensively using AI, we cheat ourselves out of the joy of the work of creation!
